
Ofir Cohen
Program Officer
Ofir Cohen serves as a Program Officer at The Carob Trust, where he works to identify and support the institutions, organizations, and values that sustain a flourishing democratic society.
Before joining Carob, Ofir worked across public policy, philanthropy, and strategy in both the United States and Israel. He served as a Foreign Affairs and Economic Policy Advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives and helped lead strategy for an initiative focused on advancing economic cooperation through the Abraham Accords. Previously, he led strategy and operations projects for government agencies, nonprofits, and philanthropic organizations in Israel.
Ofir received an MPA from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and an LL.B. in Law, Economics, and Philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He also served as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces.
