Leonore Annenberg University Professor in Democracy and Citizenship, University of Pennsylvania
Philip E. Tetlock holds the Penn Integrates Knowledge (Annenberg) chair at the University of Pennsylvania, with cross-appointments at Wharton and the School of Arts and Science. His work crosses the boundaries of cognitive, political, and organizational science and addresses topics such as accountability, value conflict, counterfactual reasoning, and taboo trade-offs. He has published widely in scientific journals and has received awards from numerous scientific and professional societies. His current work focuses on forecasting tournaments and their potential to improve intelligence analysis and to depolarize unnecessarily polarized debates on domestic as well as national security issues.
